It is surprising how many Landlords do not give the correct notice when visiting a property. Imagine your Tenant waking up in the morning, still in their night attire to find a Landlord waving at them through the windows, with an unexpected visit or inspection! As funny as the story may sound, this is not acceptable practice, and a Landlord or Owner may be fined for not giving the appropriate notice!

Residential Tenancies are governed by legislation that gives specific guidelines in relation to the notice and regularity of visits not just from Landlords/Agents but for the purpose of maintenance, emergencies, collecting rent, inspections, etc.
